Chartwells secures 10-year Northumbria extension

Chartwells Universities has secured a 10-year extension to its contract with Northumbria University. Compass’s education arm put this success down to its integration of digitalisation and the Time 2 Eat omnichannel platform, an efficient system that, it says, gives students access to ‘the food they desire, when they need it, delivered to wherever they want’.

Kerry Ford, regional managing director of Chartwells Universities, said: “We are very proud of our partnership with Northumbria University and thank them for their support and collaborative approach. We are all very much looking forward to embedding our new operating model that is focused on creating a seamless student experience.”

David Jackson, director of campus experience for Northumbria University, added: “Chartwells Universities' approach and commitment to change stood out as truly innovative. Clearly, a lot of thinking has gone into understanding what trends are shaping consumer behaviours among gen z customers, before pulling together disparate trends and pieces of technology into one coherent operating model.”
