The StrEATfood Awards are returning to London once again - and you could be there free of charge! The annual event will be held at a new, larger venue, Big Penny Social in north London, on 10th October. The sixth annual event will see the 16 compete in a series of culinary challenges. They will be tasked with recreating their signature dishes for our panel of expert judges, with the winner taking home the prized Street Food Dish of the Year title. They will also compete in a technical round using products supplied on the day.

Eliot Hilton from Houston and Hawkes, who won the main award last time, told us: “I loved it, it’s the first one that I’ve competed in. I was so, so nervous before I started – I cannot tell you how nervous I was! – but I enjoyed it so much.

“I was not expecting to win at all, not one bit. I gave my all, I did my best, so to get this… I was blown away.
“It was unbelievable. I mean, when I came off the stage I was crying.”
