The 2025 StrEATfood Awards
The event will be held at Big Penny Social in north London once again, on 7th October.
We recently revealed the 16 incredibly talented contract catering chefs who have been selected to compete at the 2025 StrEATfood Awards..
The finalists are:

Holroyd Howe – Shyam Simon – Gunpowder chicken chettinad
Houston & Hawkes – Scott Carrington – Callaloo dumpling with jerk salmon
Innovate – Moises Catalan – Chilean sopapilla and completos
Midshire Signature Services – Dean Bennett – Smoked pulled brisket flatbread
OCS – Shannon Talbot-Bennett – Next level bunny chow
Restaurant Associates – Jack Harrison – Chick & shroom walfalel

The eighth iteration of this annual event will see the selected 16 compete in a series of culinary challenges. They will be recreating their signature dishes for our judges, competing to be win the coveted title of Street Food Dish of the Year title. Not only that but they will also compete in a technical round using products supplied on the day.
Michael Broad from Fooditude, who won two awards last time, told us: “There has been some fantastic competition today and we've seen some tremendous dishes. I feel elated to be stepping up against the big boys. I've only been in my current role for about nine months, so this is something that I'm super proud of. I'm over the moon!”
