BM Caterers and Norton Rose Fulbright won an award recently for their collaboration on phasing out single-use food packaging and coffee cups at the law firm’s on-site restaurant.

Norton Rose Fulbright’s London office was recognised at the Team London Bridge A Great Place to Work Awards 2025 for its work on circular economy and waste, phasing out single-use plastic in the restaurant through reusable CauliBox food and drink containers. To date, this has resulted in a range of impressive results, including an estimated 23,000 litres of waste and 5,500kg of CO2 being saved.

'Encouraging a behaviour shift'
Angus Brydon, managing director of BM Caterers, said: “Phasing out single-use packaging at Norton Rose Fulbright wasn’t just about cutting waste, but more to help us encourage a behaviour shift among guests in our restaurant. We’re delighted to play our part in Norton Rose Fulbright achieving this award and, more importantly, with the change we’ve been able to create within the business.

“This award reflects what’s possible when we work collaboratively with our clients to support the development of a more sustainable workplace.”
