The Association of Catering Excellence (ACE) is to change its business support after AVL Consultancy gave its resignation recently. Vic Laws and Louise Willis have been providing services since the 1990s, but they have decided that it is now time for them to move on.
It was thought that Willis would take over when Laws retired, but she explained: “I have really enjoyed my time with ACE. However, after completing my master’s in history a couple of years ago, I would like to explore other options and feel that now is the time for the association to have a fresh start with someone new.”
'Heartfelt thanks'
An ACE spokesperson added: “The board, past and present, extends its heartfelt thanks to Vic and Louise for their outstanding dedication, hard work and invaluable contributions over the past several decades. ACE would not be the networking association it is today without their leadership and vision.
“Their stewardship has played a pivotal role in shaping a strong platform where our industry can connect and support the next generation. We wish Vic and Louise all the very best for the future.”
AVL will be supporting ACE to find a new business partner to take over in April 2026.
