UK chefs sought to road test products

A new campaign has been launched by H2O Publishing, which publishes Contract Catering, calling on chefs from across the hospitality and foodservice sectors to sign up to be part of a bank of industry experts who will put supplier products to the test via video demonstrations.

H2O Road Test will see chefs being paid to use their expertise and culinary experience to put specific supplier products through their paces in videos that will be recorded by a film crew in either a development or personal kitchen. The Road Test will then feature in some H2O magazines, and the video presented in the digital editions, websites and social media channels.

Applications are invited from chefs who may be out of work, on furlough or currently employed; for every product road tested, the chef will be paid a fee of £500. The Road Test is open to chefs who live in the UK and have been working in the foodservice and hospitality industries for a minimum of five years.
